A Snapshot of Homelessness in Clallam County

How many families are searching for a place to sleep tonight? Are there veterans pacing the streets for warmth in the January chill? Just how many youth and young adults have left home to escape a bad situation?

These are some of the many the questions that the PIT Count attempts to answer. The Point-in-Time (PIT) Count is a national effort to document those who are living with and without shelter. This is an extremely important count that tells decision makers at the local, state, and federal levels what funding our county needs and where those needs are most critical. The PIT count also identifies our biggest service gaps, allowing local agencies to analyze and address local needs.
